Questions? Here's a few we get regularly.
For Lifetime Licenses, what's included?
A lifetime license is equivalent to the Pro Plus plan, but without an expiry date. This means you have access to all the benefits of Pro Plus forever, including Pro support, updates and access to ALL our add-ons we sell on this site in the future.
Can I upgrade to a Lifetime License, or upgrade a Lifetime License for more sites?
You can upgrade to a lifetime license (while stocks last, we're selling a limited quantity), and if you have an active license we will provide you with a discount but this may not be equivalent to the difference in price between your current license and upgrading, given this is an exceptional promotion with limited quantities.
Upgrading sites is possible if there is availability, please get in touch with us if you'd like to upgrade your lifetime license.
For MultiSite websites, how many sites do I need to purchase?
We consider a 'site' for licensing purposes as an installation of WordPress with Events Manager Pro. So, for example, if you're using MultiSite it's considered a single license as it's a single installation, regardless how many sites you have on it, whether you use subdomain, directory blogs or even domain mapping.
As another example, were you to use WordPress on yoursite.com and then also install another separate WordPress site in yoursite.com/wp, then that'd count as two sites even though it's the same domain.
Can I upgrade from Pro to Pro ?
Sure! If you'd like to upgrade to Pro whilst you have an active Pro license, you can pay the price difference.
I have a development site, do I need to purchase an extra license for it?
Generally speaking, no! We allow for 2 staging/development sites to be registered alongside each production site you have purchased. So, if you have a 3-site license, you could register up to 6 extra sites for staging/development purposes.
When registering a dev/staging site, we request that you make it clear that these sites are not used in production, such as by using an obvious URL (such as testing.yorsite.com), adding a maintenance mode for regular visitors, or any other reasonable/logical approach.
