Introducing new pricing

As we continually add new features and make improvements to Events Manager (both free and Pro) we periodically review our prices and plans to make sure they’re affordable, competitive and fair.
In 2023, we added quite a few new features, including ticketing, PDF support, QR scanning and much more! We’re also about to release a brand new feature; SMS, WhatsApp and Telegram support!
As our plugin grows in features, there is a proportional increase in our required efforts to maintain and support everything we create (and our favourite thing is creating!). Therefore, we have decided to make some changes to our pricing and plans structure to ensure we maintain a sustainable ecosystem that will ensure you, our customers, get the best possible plugin that will help your business thrive!
Starting soon, we will be selling some of our add-ons separately, the first one being our SMS/WhatsApp/Telegram add-on. These will be modular add-ons that do not require Pro to function, yet will provide useful features for users who only need specific features.
Additionally, we will be offering two plan types, Pro and a ‘Pro Plus’ plan. Pro will include all the main features, and the Plus will also include all separately sold add-ons. Each plan (and add-on) will still allow the choice of how many sites to license.
During this transition phase, we’re going to offer the ‘Pro Plus’ plan at our regular Pro prices. That means, if you purchase, renew or upgrade you’ll have access to all our plugins and add-ons, provided you maintain your license renewed yearly.
What this means for current customers
Whenever introducing new pricing or conditions, our policy is that any current customers maintain their previous pricing and plans… That will remain the case. In fact, if you recently purchased Pro, you’re actually getting an automatic upgrade because we will be including all our future add-ons (including our upcoming add-on) in your current plan!
In summary, if you already have a license, you don’t have to take further action UNLESS; you are thinking of upgrading. Whilst you can certainly wait to upgrade, note that upgrading sites after the plan changes will mean transitioning to either of our Pro or Pro Plus plans, with the current pricing.
So, if you’re thinking of renewing or upgrading, do it now! By renewing or upgrading, you will get the best price for your current plan. As we keep on adding new features (and we have a few up our sleeve!) the savings on our legacy plans keep on increasing!
