If time is of the essence, we’re out of it this week!

This is just a quick note to explain the current progress of Events Manager. I’m pretty close to a release candidate that’ll incorporate some pretty cool features. Some of these include:
- SEO-Friendly Permalinks
- Ticketing, with functionality to charge for bookings
- Advanced booking management, and integration with WordPress’ user management system
- BuddyPress and Multi-Site Compatibility
- Bugfixes
- Loads more
Thing is… I’ve run out of time, as I’m about to set off on an planned-yet-already-postponed holiday. The update is close to completion, but i don’t like releasing half-done work for reasons that would require an essay to explain (don’t think I’d want to write that even if time permitted!).
This is a much needed break, and I’m looking forward to getting back next Saturday with a fresh mind to knock out a release candidate for you all to play with and give your feedback, as well as an update to EM with bugfixes. Unfortunately, that’s about it now….. until next week!

MEGA excited about the release… haven’t found a better Events plugin from a customisation perspective and all it lacks at the moment is member integration (to charge more for non-logged in people) and payment facilities! If you’re adding that – the 10/10!

Great, I’m looking forward to the SEO-Friendly Permalinks. I’m using it for a 200 event calendar as it’s so quick to update and add new events.
It’s looking very promising :)
